Julie Cochran My background in photography

I started in 1992 with a Pentax k 1000. Took classes at NOVA Alexandria campus. I took all the photography classes in hopes of completing my associates degree but i am two classes shy of it. I upgraded to a Nikon n 70, then eventually to a Minolta freedom poiint and shoot, then to a Minolta dslr then, finally, to my present current DSLR, a Sony a 330. My primary lens is a 70-300 zoom which I love. In addition to formal schooling, I've signed up for workshops through various companies and joined Northern Virginia Photo club. In 1998 I moved to Fairfax and joined Vienna Photographic Society in 1. I am still a member today. The clubs and workshops have improved my photography skills by leaps and bounds.

Thanks to my friend Andrew who got me hooked on photography in the first place . I now love photography.
